  2. First of all I would like to thank you for registering BootUte, it is
  3. great to know that someone appreciates the work I have done. It helps
  4. motivate me by making me think about what features other people would
  5. like implemented, not just the features I need.

  7. Now onto a more serious note, the keyfile (in the S/ directory) on
  8. this disk is personal to you and must not be distributed to anybody
  9. else, although all of the other files on the disk can be (apart from
  10. this README). Please do not edit the keyfile with either a text or a
  11. binary editor because I cannot be held responsible for what happens
  12. to your machine if you do.

  14. If for any reason you need a new keyfile (you delete your original,
  15. change your name or address etc.) then mail me a disk containing
  16. your keyfile (if you still have it), a stamped, self addressed
  17. envelope, and some proof that you are a registered user (a photocopy
  18. of the certificate is good enough proof), along with your new
  19. details and I'll mail the a new keyfile to you within 28 days.

  21. If you want to manually install the keyfile you must copy the
  22. file 'S/BootUte.key' from this disk to the 'S:' directory of the disk
  23. you boot from. The 'Install_KeyFile' script does this automatically.
